Welcome to Christel House Academy in Indianapolis. As you visit our site, you will see that Christel House offers something very unique. Students at the Academy don’t simply attend school, they become part of an international community focused on social, academic and cultural development.
Christel House Academy is an exciting place for children to attend school. Our staff is committed to developing a safe, caring environment where students engage in meaningful work. Besides academics, our students participate in the fine arts to expand their knowledge of culture and stimulate creativity. As a school, we are focused on service learning, with an international twist.
Our students benefit from a state of the art facility and expansive grounds. Private music lessons are offered, students wear uniforms, athletic participation is encouraged, foreign language instruction begins in kindergarten, student to teacher ratios are low… leaving many parents to wonder, is this really a public school? Christel House Academy is truly someplace very special.
As you learn about Christel House Academy, take time to explore the Christel House International website too. Both are 501(c)(3) public charities founded by Indianapolis entrepreneur and philanthropist Christel DeHaan. Currently, over 2,600 children attend learning centers in five countries – India, Mexico, South Africa, Venezuela, and the U.S. By visiting the Christel House International website, you can learn about the many different ways that you can support the Christel House mission.
Enjoy your time exploring our site and I hope you will consider joining us in our mission to open doors, support aspirations and awaken dreams for children all cross the globe.
